Lead Time
Our goal is to ship all orders in a timely manner which meets our customer’s needs. Virtually all orders for stock items such as Metal Shake and accessories, ship within 2 to 4 weeks after confirmation and payment. Lead time for non-stock or specially fabricated items will vary.

Transit Time
Transit time for continental U.S. shipments can vary from 1 to 10 days depending upon your location, the size of the order and even weather conditions.

UPS Shipments
Most of our items can be shipped via UPS or other small-package carrier and this is usually the most economical option for small accessory orders and orders of up to 5 squares of shingles. However, our 10’ and 12’ long accessories must be cut down to lengths of 6’ or less.

Orders Shipped via Truckline
Someone must be present to unload and sign for orders. If you need the truckline to call you in advance to schedule a delivery time, you must tell Metal Roofing Express this when you place the order. When unloading shipments, count all skids and packages and check carefully for any damages. Any shortages or damages must be noted on the truckline’s bill of lading before you sign for the shipment. Otherwise, there will be no way to make a claim and you will be responsible for missing or damaged items.

Orders Shipped via UPS Or Other Small Package carrier
UPS cannot schedule a delivery time. Any damaged items should be rejected or brought to the driver’s attention. Multi-package shipments can become separated so do not be alarmed if all of you packages do not arrive the same day.

Damaged Shipments
We go to great lengths to package our materials carefully and to choose only the most careful carriers, but damages can occur. In order to make a damage claim with the carrier, you must note the damages before signing for the shipment. You also have the right to refuse damaged materials. If you accept damaged materials, filing a claim with the carrier will be your responsibility; if you refuse the damaged materials and return them to us, it is our responsibility.

Returns
All returns must be pre-approved by Metal Roofing Express and be granted a Return Authorization Number. Products of custom lengths, design or color cannot be returned. Credit will be given only for materials, which we receive in factory condition. You are responsible for return freight charges, and a 20% Restock Fee.
